It happens at some point. We either fall in love with someone who is married or someone who is married falls in love with their affair. So, how does one deal with feeling this way? Do we ignore it? Do we pretend like it was never there? Well, we can’t give you the flat out answers. We can give you some ideas as to what you might be able to do to help you through it.
Ignore It
The easiest thing for some people is to just plain ignore your feelings. Pretend like you don’t have them and act like everything is okay, even though it might not be. The downside of this is that you might end up pushing them away in the end and you don’t want that either, so be careful when treading these waters.
End The Affair
Sometimes you just need to cut it loose and walk away. Ending an affair can sometimes be the best things to do when you start to have real emotions. The longer you stay there, the more you might end up getting hurt in the end. It’ll suck at the time to leave, but it’ll be what’s best for you. Loving someone who doesn’t love you back, is the hardest thing you can put your heart through.

Have A Second Affair
Sometimes you need to cheat on the cheater to put things back into perspective. It sounds weird, but it totally works. It’s the affair equivalent to fighting fire with fire. Sometimes you just need to go out and have a good time with someone else and remember that strong emotions can’t be involved.
Let Them Know
This one is hard, but sometimes the hardest things are worth it in the end. Just be honest with them and let them know how you are feeling. Worst case scenario, things end, and no one gets strung along. However, sometimes the feeling is mutual, which means you might possibly be able to start something amazing with this person. There’s always hope.

Some of these might be for you, some these might not be and there is no shame in that. It’s hard to deal with matters of the heart. Sometimes it can be amazing to be in love, other times it can be the end of the world. However, you know your heart better than anyone, you know what to do.
